Part of becoming a healthier person involves getting rid of bad habits. Now I’ve tried doing this, but learned that it can’t happen all at once. I can’t wake up one day, and start running every morning, reading for 30mins, make a protein shake, and all these goals I have to become healthier can’t just all happen at once because I will fail and get discouraged for not making it. In order to be realistic about it, there has to be a gradual change replacing the bad habits with good habits. This article by Lifehack does a good job of diving into this by suggesting a number of different ways to realistically get rid of those bad habits we cling to.
