I have had a number of goals that I’ve set for myself in the past that I never reached. I also have goals that I’ve set and attainted successfully. The more difficult goals that were hard to stick with seem to be the long term goals. I came across this article that helps reflect on these long term goals and how to stick with them. In this article it suggests that you celebrate your small wins on your path and track your progress towards the long term goal. This makes me think of the bullet journal that I started. I love having my list of daily goals, and completing them feels good every time. It’s my way of celebrating small wins and tracking progress. Anyways, the bigger picture here is sticking with your long term goals, and I think bullet journaling can/should be a part of that.
